The consultant is incharge of offering expert guidance and support the employees and clients in specialized areas of knowledge. Oversees, guides, and mentors the team as necessary, including performance oversight and team development.

The client is a leading chemical company providing water treatment and waste water treatment solutions / services.

Description

1. Provide direct supervision to staff or work autonomously as a technical resource, supporting the company’s business groups in enhancing sales revenue and optimizing operating profits.
2. Actively engage in the development and launch of new programs by collaborating with Product Line Managers sales, and marketing management for the designated product, application, or market: assisting with field trials, developing technical training materials, or offering post-commercialization sales support.
3. Aid in the creation of tools for documenting value, aimed at identifying and quantifying the benefits delivered by the company programs.
4. Offer technical support and serve as a liaison, recognized as an expert on the company’s technology and customer processes.
5. Demonstrate comprehension of best practices and promote their adoption through training initiatives and implementation across the field.
6. Maintain a high level of technical expertise in industry/market segments by staying abreast of new developments, products, research, and concepts.
7. Develop a deep understanding of the company’s application portfolio and its direct impact on processes within defined industry segments.
8. Provide onsite audit support for pre-bid technical qualification, including laboratory testing and product/application recommendations as necessary.
9. Prepare and distribute detailed call reports outlining activities, recommendations, and observations from site visits. Communicate product and program recommendations and specifications effectively.

Profile

• 5+ years of technical or industry experience, preferably in a related field.
• Familiarity with the company’s products, applications, and offerings as they relate to the relevant industry or technical application is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to effectively convey technical knowledge to others.
• 2+ years of sales experience is desired.
• Recognition within the industry for technical expertise, including participation in industry associations or committees, and/or a significant portfolio of technical publications or case studies is advantageous.
• Willingness and ability to travel as required.
