Role Summary

Provide assistance in relation to the tax compliance obligations of the DXC entities based in Indonesia, including liaising with controllership, external advisors and the Indonesian tax authorities as required.  The role may also include assistance with the tax compliance obligations of other Asian countries as well, and assistance with the global tax reporting for a US-based multinational enterprise. 

Responsibilities

• Assisting with tax filings prepared either in-house or by external tax advisors including corporate income tax and other tax compliance filings (e.g., WHT.);
• Working with other members of the DXC Asia Pacific Tax Team, Controllership and/or external advisors to support the accurate and timely preparation of tax provisions and deferred taxes for the local statutory accounts and US GAAP reporting;
• Supporting the business on key projects in relation to taxation related issues;
• Assistance with the defense of tax audits in Malaysia and other Asian countries (with assistance from DXC APAC tax team members);
• Assisting with the Asia Pacific regional cash tax forecast;
• Preparation/parking of corporate income tax journals in the ERP system;
• Assisting with quarter-end/year-end tax related tasks (e.g., identifying book to tax permanent and temporary adjustments, reviewing Tax Account Rollforwards etc);
• Assisting with the management and tracking of engagements with external advisors;
• Assisting with ensuring the sub-region’s tax documents are properly maintained in DXC’s sharepoint sites;
• Other ad-hoc tax duties.

Education and Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business, with a focus on accounting knowledge;
• 2-3 years of experience in a role specializing in corporate income tax compliance, preferably for a large multinational enterprise;
• Experience with GSAP or similar ERP tools;
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills; and
• Fluency in English
