PT. Visindo Prima Nusantara is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Systems Engineer with a focus on project work, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing various IT projects that contribute to the enhancement, stability, and scalability of our client’s technology infrastructure. Your expertise will play a critical role in driving innovation, efficiency, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Operate as a key player, responsible for infrastructure, in the field with VPN clients, equipping them with the technology, support and service they need to achieve their organizational objectives.
• Implements complex VLAN and Network solutions at customers sites, using a variety of technologies
• Implements and designs SAN solutions.
• Monitor and summarize the progress of all projects.
• Display a wide degree of creativity and latitude; think independently and outside the box for solutions; use familiarity with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures; rely on varied yet sometimes limited experience and your own sound judgment to accomplish goals and perform a variety of tasks.
• Achieve continuing education requirements and stay current with the industry.
• Ability to perform and/or assist with the tasks of Engineers and Technicians at prior levels.

Project Planning and Design:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and objectives at client locations.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timeline and budget estimates.
• Help to design and validate innovative and practical solutions that align with business needs and industry best practices.
• Deploy and configure hardware, software, and network components as required for project initiatives.
• Ensure smooth integration of new solutions into the existing IT environment, minimizing disruptions and risks.
• Perform system upgrades, migrations, and expansions while maintaining system integrity.

Technical Documentation:

• Create detailed technical documentation, including system diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Record all time in system, achieve monthly billable hour s goal and other performance objectives defined.
• Maintain accurate records of project progress, changes, and outcomes.
• Provide clear documentation for end-users and support teams to ensure proper system usage and troubleshooting.

Security and Compliance:

• Implement security measures and best practices to safeguard project assets and data.
• Ensure project solutions adhere to industry compliance standards and regulations.

Problem Solving and Troubleshooting:

• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to project implementations.
• Utilize a methodical approach to troubleshoot and resolve system malfunctions, minimizing both downtime and impact.
• Ensure critical issues are resolved to client satisfaction, meeting service level agreements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a Senior Systems Engineer, with a track record of successfully delivering complex IT projects.
• Proficiency in systems administration, network protocols, hardware configuration, and software deployment.
• Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies, cloud platforms, and containerization.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments and levels.
• Relevant certifications such as Dell Technologies Proven Professional Certification (DCE / DCS / DC), Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), etc.,
