PT. Medan Bioenergy Nusantara (MBN) is a rapidly expanding renewable commodities trader with a hyper-focus on direct origination of bio-feedstock material – primarily Used Cooking Oil (UCO) and Palm Oil Mill Effluent (POME) for biodiesel production as well as Biodiesel itself.

We develop complex supply chains within challenging locations to source sustainable and renewable materials for biofuel production. We bulk, store, blend and deliver these volumes to our end clients with attentive care to quality and sustainability compliance.

We are looking for Senior Supply Manager with details below:

• Increase the supply volumes at our origin sites while optimising operational costs and logistics by directing ground teams and operators;
• Manage our source blends, shipping and storage, this includes local logistics between our satellite operations and bulking operations;
• You will develop new trade flows by contacting other suppliers, both domestically and internationally to secure partnerships, JV’s and trading relationships to build your supply book;
• Regular financial reporting and feedback on risk, exposure, and market to the wider team.

The Supply Manager role is a critical company position that requires a good amount of travel. You would be responsible for managing a portfolio of collection points/sites and driving their growth, performance and development. 

You will report regularly to the executive team the financial and operational performance of your locations. You will oversee all sales and purchases for each location as well as have a strong understand of the local market there.

Each of these sites are fully equipped to process and handle used cooking oil collections (UCO).

The role is a blend of business management, financial/commercial reporting, business developments and relationship management. We empower our supply managers to take ownership and responsibility of their sites as if they were running their own business.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s of any major (Engineering and Economics will be a priority)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Passionate in delivering results and working in fast pace company environment
• Proven experience in developing and managing stakeholder groups across the business
• Solid problem solving, decision making and conflict management skills
• Strong relationship building, influencing and negotiation skills
