About the role

In this role, you will:

• Provide targeted support in contract management, service variations, and contract documentation to ensure suppliers comply with their contractual obligations, including performance standards, and providing safe, cost effective and efficient services to stakeholders

• Provide accurate, expert, and timely advice, information and reports on the strategic and transactional aspects of contract management relevant to their contract portfolio, esp. strategic and high value commodities, to highlight any trends, forecasts or risks that require management intervention and/or strategic solutions for further action.

• Review tender and contract documents to ensure the necessary term and conditions are all incorporated.
• Analyse all required analysis to ensure it is the most favourable option to the Company.
• Avoid situations resulting in a conflict of interest, bribery or the use of inducements to secure business
• Manage and coordinate the flow of information concerning contractual appointments, termination and contractual related correspondence to suppliers and sites
• Communicate with clients/sites regarding sub & supply contract matters.
• Respond to contract inquiries from clients/sites and other departments.
• Periodically review operational procedures to assure maintenance of confidentiality of both document files and data systems
• Justify Tender cost savings
• Liaise with Project and Ops Managers on any contractual issues
• Negotiate with suppliers on contractual disputes
• Monitor Supplier & Subcontractor performances during contract period (6 monthly subcontractor/supplier evaluation reports)
• Monitor continues feedback and decisions from contract specialist in assisting user for contractual issues

About you

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Civil, Petroleum, and/or Industrial Engineering with 5+ years’ experience in contract related In Procurement Contract area; having a Master’s degree will be a plus point.

• Must have competence and experience in Supply Chain Contracts Management; knowledge of tendering process, business contract drafting, purchasing experience.

• Knowledge of Tendering process, Business Contract Drafting, Purchasing Experiences, Negotiation and Communication Skills. Will attend a lot of face to face meetings with Vendors, end users and also within internal Supply Chain
• Strong skills in communication, leadership, problem solving and negotiation; self-motivated, have a good planning skill and high initiatives; fluent in English both oral as well written and computer literacy

• Experienced in managing high value supply commodities contracts and can demonstrate ability to apply strategic vision to contracting strategy.

• Proven strong ethics in dealings with suppliers and/or contractors including but not limited to integrity and professionalism in handling sensitive information with high level of confidentiality, avoid gratification, conflict of interest, and the like. 

• Excellent time management skills. Able to work fast without neglecting accuracy. Enjoy analysing and working with details and data, as well as ability to navigate action in times of uncertainty.

• Having a certification in supply chain will be an advantage.
