Job Description

In your new role you will:

• Process owner and expert who drives innovation, pre-development and development of unit process.
• Ensure timely development of robust unit process in accordance to project timeline, yield and cost targets.
• Develop unit process with compliance to requirements defined in Process Development Handbook.
• Advocate Design for Manufacturing and Design for Cost.
• Demonstrate ability to solve complex problems independently with application of problem solving tools.
• Lead definition and guide process, equipment and material strategies asper alignment with roadmap.
• Support End-to-End activities of projects to ensure smooth ramp up.
• Lead, coach, and continuously develop the competency of the unit process development team.
• Guide junior engineer in focus team topic/ lead focus team of high complexity.

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Master / Bachelor Degree in Engineering and Physics Science.
• Minimum 5 – 8 years of working experience in backend semiconductor industry (Mold Process Engineering/Development).
• Additional experience in IC Packaging Concept and Manufacturing Engineering would be an added advantage.
• Good knowledge in:
  • Statistical tools (JMP, CEDA, Minitab, etc)
  • Analytical and problem solving skills (P/DFMEA, DMAIC, 8DMethodology, etc)
  • Design of Experiment (DoE)
  • Analytical equipment knowledge (Smart Scope, Hisomet, etc)
• Hands-on knowledge/skills in assembly.
