Get to know the team

The ACE team is responsible for all of food, mart, dine out and reservation business. We use a microservice architecture in backend, and frontend tech stack use including (iOS, ADR, Flutter and Web). We often do platform abstraction to support our new our requirements to go online faster.

Get to Know the Role

This role is for Dine-out related product testing and is required because we are supporting our fast-growing business. You will report to the QA Engineering Manager II, this role is fully onsite in our Jakarta Office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Define test plans, test specifications, test suites, test cases and proposed tools for functional, security and performance testing
• Understand the product/feature in-depth from the end-user point of view and the underlying implementation.
• Work with the Product Manager, Frontend, and Backend developers to understand the feature and the implementation to build feature tests and impacted feature test cases.
• Debug failed test cases by analyzing logs and API responses and report bugs with details. Follow-up on bugs to closure.
• Maintain UI (Web, Mobile app) and API automation suites. Debug and correct script and data issues in automation suites.
• Understand automation framework and add automation test cases for the new features and regression test cases

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• Preferably a degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology or related fields
• 4+ years of experience as SET Engineer/ Automation Engineer or Software Development Engineer in Test
• Perform testing of iOS, Android apps and Backend API’s to ensure that product meets requirements
• Have a deeper understanding of the product at the implementation level, can analyze logs and API responses in the Micro-Service integration level.
• Have coding experience and hands-on with automation (Web, Mobile app and API automation)
• Familiar with the fundamentals of the Go programming language.
• Understanding of database concepts and queries (MySQL)
