Role Overview:
We’re seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer who is passionate about coding, problem-solving, and working in a startup environment with a small but growing team of motivated engineers in a global setup (we are in Indonesia, Italy and Brazil). This role focuses on developing robust web applications, scaling services, and delivering high-quality software solutions that meet both technical and business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-quality web applications using Python and Django.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including campaign managers, sales managers, and other developers, to define software requirements and specifications.

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including code reviews, testing, and debugging.

• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

• Contribute to team knowledge-sharing initiatives.

• Stay updated on emerging technologies and frameworks, and identify opportunities for improvement.

Tech Stack:

• Backend: Python (Django)

• Database: PostgreSQL

• Containerization & Deployment: Docker

• Frontend: HTML, CSS, Tailwind, and Flowbite for component libraries

• Additional Tools: Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, is a plus.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).

• 5+ years of professional experience as a software developer with good knowledge of Python and a strong focus on programming best practices, like SOLID and DRY.

• Desirable: proficiency in Django, with a track record of building and deploying high-quality, scalable applications. If you don’t have but think you can learn fast, apply anyway.

• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, relational databases, and ORM concepts.

• Experience with front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 is a plus.

• Familiarity with modern DevOps practices, including Docker and CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to learning and collaboration.

• Good command in English (Speaking and Written)

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Knowledge of additional frameworks or languages, such as Flask, FastAPI, or JavaScript frameworks like React or Vue.js.

• Contributions to open-source projects or a history of technical blogging or speaking engagements.
