As Project Manager, you will be responsible to lead the execution of mining infrastructure and facilities projects, including site preparation, earthworks, roads, camps, workshops, substations, and other supporting utilities. The ideal candidate has a strong background in civil and structural works in remote environments, with solid leadership skills and a hands-on approach to managing contractors, schedules, and safety compliance.

Description

• Manage all activities related to construction works such as site infrastructure, earthwork, temporary facilities, civil work, etc. from beginning to the end including planning, execution, completion, and deliver
• Coordinate with project management, engineering, procurement, and HSE teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
• Lead and supervise contractors and subcontractors on site to ensure work is carried out as per specifications, quality standards, and project schedule.
• Review construction drawings, method statements, and work packages; ensure proper implementation on the ground
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and resolve issues that may affect timeline or safety
• Ensure strict compliance with company and site-specific HSE policies and mining regulations
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders to provide regular updates and reporting
• Oversee quality inspections, handover procedures, and final commissioning of infrastructure and facilities

Profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related industries
• Minimum of 15 (fifteen) years of experience in Management of Construction Projects, preferably in mining industry or similar heavy industry
• At least POP certification is needed
• Previous experience in a leadership role with strong and proven leadership skills
• Strong technical knowledge in design and construction methods including civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical works
• Have an excellent understanding of mining business process and risk management
• Fluent in English
• Willing to be placed on site with rotation basis
