As a Senior Pipeline Engineer, you will be responsible to provide technical leadership, ensure engineering excellence, and support the successful execution of projects. This role involves ensuring adherence to design standards, regulatory compliance, and customer specifications, while also supporting innovation, quality control, and cross-disciplinary coordination throughout the project lifecycle.

To succeed in this role, you should have experience minimum of minimum 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas industry, and 5 years of experience as Senior Pipeline Engineer.

What You’ll Do

We are looking for a Senior Pipeline Engineer to join our team in Indonesia.

The role responsibilities include:

• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, regulatory requirements, and client specifications.
• Support standardization of specifications, drawings, and document templates.
• Provide technical guidance and participate in quality reviews, peer checks, and approvals.
• Contribute to project planning, execution, and cross-discipline coordination.
• Monitor progress, manage changes, and support issue resolution with project management.
• Conduct engineering studies, analyses, and develop final documentation for client approval.
• Identify technical issues, propose solutions, and formalize through official project documents.
• Review and authorize work of direct reports and support knowledge sharing across the team.

What You’ll Have:
•    Minimum 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas industry, and 5 years of experience as Senior Pipeline Engineer. 
•    Experience in engineering design (Pre-FEED/FEED/Detail Design Phase), risk management, quality, procurement, or construction execution. Adept at budgeting and cost control. 
•    Perform and/or supervise the correct execution of pipeline design and installation analysis
•    Has the knowledge and the use of the available software for pipeline design and installation analysis
•    Has the capabilities in design and analysis and Knowledge of Discipline engineering design criteria, methods and workflows from conceptual phase up to site engineering phase.
•    Has capability to define the technical documents set based on Project quantities and scope of work
•    Has Knowledge of main international Discipline standards. codes and regulations. Capability to analyze dedicated Project requirements in terms of local standards and codes and to identity proper implementation actions
•    Able to perform the correct execution of Onshore/Offshore pipeline design Mechanical Sizing Design and Global Analysis design.
•    Able to Interpretate correctly and apply Codes and standards to Pipeline Global Analysis design
•    Has capability in Onshore/Offshore pipeline Mechanical Sizing Design including but not limited to the wall thickness, buckle arrestor design, on-bottom stability (including ALS Criteria) and pipeline free-span analysis.
•    Has Capability in Offshore Pipeline Global Analysis design shall include but not limited to: Thermal Expansion. On-Bottom Roughness analysis, Pipeline crossing, pipeline intervention method, Lateral Buckling Reliability Study, Lateral Buckling Analysis and Mitigation Pipe Walking Analysis.
•    Has Capability in Onshore/Offshore Pipeline Stress Analysis including tie-in spool and riser stress analysis.
•    Has Capability in shore approach design analysis including trench design, rock berm design and HDD
•    Has Capability in Microsoft Office Software, MathCAD, and Pipeline Software design including but not limited to DNV software (F101, Stablelines, Fatfree), AutoPIPE, SAGE 3D, AGA/PRCI, OFFPIPE and Orcaflex 
•    Able to perform cable routing and cable crossing design.
•    Able to Improve the knowledge and the use of the available software for pipeline design and analysis. Analysis using Abaqus (Finite Element software).
•    Has capability to prepare the pipeline related Specification and Datasheet.
•    Has knowledge on pipeline material, pipeline installation, pipeline pre-commissioning and commissioning.
•    Preferred to have knowledge in CCS Pipeline System
