• Participates in project execution strategy and planning. Knows the project and owns the discipline scope/cost/time requirements, makes certain meets expectations, and coordinates with other disciplines to ensure project success. Drives innovative solutions, technology advances, and methods to effectively deal with working out of sequence. Owns management of project change and progressing for the discipline and works with the Project Management Team to take corrective actions regarding any issues, staffing requirements, scope changes, progressing, or other events that could affect project completion and/or profitability. Plans discipline quality, monitors quality activities, drives and participates in squad checking, recommends improvements, and takes action where required.
• Enables data gathering and the preparation of engineering studies, analyses, calculations, etc. Assists with recommendations and helps create final documentation. Ensures technical issues are defined with alternate solutions, pros/cons established for multiple solutions, and recommendations made through official project documents such as technical queries, technical deviations, etc. Ensures final documentation incorporates all relevant information and Customer approval is obtained. Reviews and authorizes work done by direct reports
• Has exposure and involvement on Equipment Criticality Rating Worksheet Study, Compressor-Driver Selection Study, Lifecycle Equipment Cost Study, Mechanical Seal Selection Report, Machinery Equipment and Pump Type Selection Report, Compressor Surge control and analysis study, Machinery vibration assessment, Compressor Dynamic Simulation Study Report, Sub-Synchronous Torsional Interaction Study Report.
• Has exposure and involvement on several other discipline workshop such as HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, and Constructability.
• Experience in an independent review of engineering documents and drawings for both technical and quality checks.
• Understanding of engineering management and schedule control of specific disciplines and coordination with other disciplines;
• Advanced skills in communications and teamwork. Experience as a group/team Leader in projects is preferred;

• Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical Engineering) or equivalent. Will be actively licensed with a local engineering governing body where required by law

• Minimum fifteen (15) years of experience working in an engineering team of onshore and offshore projects. Experience in bp projects and equipment package modularization projects is preferred;

• Involved in EPC Project, FEED Project and Engineering Blanket Service Project and Feasibility study, Constructability study Project for onshore and offshore project as Lead Mechanical Rotating  Engineer for several Oil & Gas Project, and Petrochemical Project;

• Familiar with international standards & codes for machinery equipment design such as ASME (Section I, II, IV, V, VIII-all divisions & etc.), ASME PTC, API (Standard 610, 611, 612, 613, 614, 617, 618, 619, 670, 674, 675, 676, 677, 682, 686 & etc.), NFPA, ISO, JIPP33 Standard & other international standards/codes
• Competent in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint. Can navigate intranet pages, conduct searches, and retrieve information. Can organize information from many sources and retain as per the prescribed format and policies. Has functional awareness of discipline tools. Advance skills and Aware of the interrelationship of tools within the discipline, analytics and modelling such as GT-Pro, Compressor Dynamic Simulation Software, Vibration Analysis Software, etc
• Advanced skills in the interrelationship of tools within the mechanical discipline, analytics and modelling such as GT-Pro, Compressor Dynamic Simulation Software, Vibration Analysis Software, etc.
• Having exposure to handle the following machinery equipment:- Positive Displacement Compressor Package – Rotary

• Having extensive experience on reviewing and managing all key Project documents as Mechanical scope include :
