Requirement :

Bachelor’s degree of Civil Engineering.
Has experience minimal 10 years in handling Road, Building & Infrastructure in Oil Palm Plantation Company.
Willing to be placed in Central Kalimantan Kalimantan (site area).
Excellent leadership capabilities with strong presentation and interpersonal skills, Strong organizational and multi-tasking capabilities.
Good communication English (Oral and Written).

Job Descriptions :

Identify various civil works within the plantation and develop a practical project management schedule which should be reviewed on a monthly basis for shortfalls
Carry out overall planning of the infrastructure for new plantations and coordinate the construction of all infrastructures within the plantations by considering the terrain, water flows, topographic considerations, and contours
Assess the adequacy of present specifications and standards used for civil engineering construction and develop/revise standards to ensure quality and sustainable network of infrastructure
Establish specifications for civil construction work, set standard BOQ’s requirements of materials to be used, develop and regularly update BOQ’s for all construction projects within the plantation
Identify and source new materials for construction work having assessed the suitability and adaptability of the materials to the site/project specific condition such as soil conditions and with reference to company policies/objectives
Evaluate and adopt cost effective methods of construction, which are durable and can be sustained with the site conditions, while ensuring quality standards are met
Assess, evaluate the viability and adopt relevant International and Indonesian construction/civil engineering related standards and specifications in a way most suitable to plantation specific requirement, and with specific reference to local conditions
Develop and set in place systems for the take over and quality evaluation by measurement of works, checking of bills, and certification of work carried out, and carry out final evaluation
Review & assess the civil drawings specifications for civil related construction of the mill projects undertaken by the plantation
Review and develop maintenance policy for the following infrastructure within the plantation, inclusive of setting quality standards for maintenance work
To ensure that subordinates make frequent visits to ensure that construction project are as per the expected quality and standards
Carry out training and development of civil division employees, structure training programs, carry out on the job training, educate on engineering design, and consideration
