Role Description

This is a full-time role for an IT Manager (Software Engineer) located at our headquarters in Jakarta, Indonesia. The IT Manager will be responsible for managing and supervising all aspects of our company’s information technology infrastructure and will be a key contributor in Tanamera’s digital journey. The IT Manager (Software Engineer) performs a wide range of duties including overseeing our entire technology infrastructure, developing the software that our company uses, and ensuring that it is secure, efficient and up-to-date.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar role as an IT Manager or Software Engineer
• Knowledge of technological trends to build strategy
• Understanding of budgets and business-planning
• Ability to conduct technological analyses and research
• Excellent problem-solving skills with an ability to identify and resolve complex issues
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Candidates should be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel
• Attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and a willingness to work with the team to tackle diverse projects
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field

Responsibilities

• Develop Technical Aspects of the Company’s Strategy: Formulate and refine the technical components of the company’s strategy to ensure it aligns with and supports its overall business goals and objectives.
• Discover and Implement New Technologies: Continuously explore and evaluate emerging technologies that have the potential to provide a competitive advantage for the company. Implement these technologies where relevant and beneficial.
• Assist Departments in Leveraging Technology: Collaborate with various departments within the organization to help them use technology in a way that enhances their operational efficiency and profitability.
• Supervise System Infrastructure: Oversee the company’s IT system infrastructure to ensure that it remains functional, efficient, and up-to-date. This includes managing hardware, software, and network resources.
• Establish Quality Assurance and Data Protection Processes: Implement and maintain quality assurance protocols to ensure that the technology systems and solutions meet high standards. Develop and enforce data protection processes to safeguard sensitive information.
• Monitor KPIs and IT Budgets: Regularly track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the company’s technological performance. Manage IT budgets effectively to optimize resource allocation.
• Incorporate Stakeholder Feedback: Gather feedback from stakeholders, including employees, customers, and partners, and use this input to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to the company’s technology strategy.
• Communicate Technology Strategy: Clearly and effectively communicate the company’s technology strategy to internal teams, external partners, and investors. Ensure alignment and understanding of the technological direction the company is taking.
