SUMMARY OF OPPORTUNITY

●   Position: Senior Finance Associate

●   Location: Jakarta

Deliveree is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Finance Associate with 6 to 36 months of experience in finance and accounting. As a Senior Finance Associate, you will be responsible for managing multiple financial tasks, including accounting and reporting for the Indonesia business, monitoring and problem solving all issues related to accounts receivables, ensuring all queries directed to the finance team from internal or external parties are resolved promptly and ensuring all regular processes within the finance team are executed quickly, efficiently and accurately. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual who seeks growth and wants to contribute actively to a growing business.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle monthly closing activities, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.
  • Monitor and assist daily operational activities. 
  • Manage the collection process and implement strategies for effective recovery with the Manager.
  • Communicate and negotiate with customers to ensure timely payment and resolve payment discrepancies.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Improve financial processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Utilize advanced Excel formulas and functions to analyze and present financial data effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and provide financial guidance.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance.

Requirements:

  • GPA 3.0 or higher with a degree in Accounting.
  • 6 to 36 months of relevant work experience in finance or accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, with experience in monthly closing and account reconciliation.
  • Proven ability to manage accounts receivables, including bad debt recovery..
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective customer interaction.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and functions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong desire for professional growth.
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional environment.
