Responsibilities: 

This role will provide ongoing technical support to customers, troubleshooting and resolving issues, and performing routine maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal system performance. He/She will offer training on the operation, programming, and maintenance of Epson robots, and assist with system upgrades and enhancements, ensuring compatibility and functionality. Maintaining strong customer relationships is also essential, as well as addressing concerns promptly and ensuring satisfaction. The engineer will also need to create and maintain detailed documentation of all service activities and gather customer feedback for continuous improvement of Epson robotic solutions. Additionally, he/she will provide pre-sales technical consultation, product demonstrations, and assist in designing customized solutions and preparing technical proposals. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities.

Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Robotics, Automation, or a related field. Have 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on both pre-sales and post-sales support in robotics. Proficiency in robotic programming languages (e.g., C, C++, C#, Python, BASIC, VBA, etc.), a strong understanding of robotic systems, and experience with CAD software and system integration are essential. Knowledge of PLCs, sensors, and automation systems is also required. The candidate must possess excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, strong verbal and written communication abilities, and the capability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships and a willingness to travel to customer sites are crucial. Relevant certifications in robotics or automation are a plus.

General Requirements:

Minimum GPA 3.00. Excellent knowledge of English and Bahasa (Mandarin or Japanese is a plus). Pleasant interpersonal skill, excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Strong team players, Must be a team player with the ability to work collaboratively. Flexibility to meet changing customer needs and technological advancements. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously are essential. Attention to detail is crucial to ensure accuracy and quality in all aspects of the job. The candidate should be committed to continuous learning and staying current with the latest developments in robotics and automation technology.
