Job description & requirements

Sr. Beauty Editor

The sr. editor will be responsible for writing beauty editorials and will also be responsible for writing select paid advertising copy. They will report to the Managing Editor on the content team, working closely with the creative team, the social media team, the sales & event team.

Job Description

Pitch, write, and edit articles, and SEO-driven stories to help build awareness and drive engagement for Female Daily’s platforms.
Work with Managing Editor and Digital Marketing on strategy to ensure editorial goals are met.
Oversee and edit associate editor, and contributor’s writing.
Maintain a great relationship with Female Daily’s clients, and top beauty experts.
Attending beauty event as and when requested by the Managing Editor or Editor in Chief.
Appear on camera for social media, video, and branded content campaigns and moderate offline or online events.

Qualifications & Experience

Having at least 2-3 years experience in related filed, preferably with an editorial beauty focus.
Excellent knowledge of the beauty industry.
Strong writing skills, communication skills, researching skills, and time management skills.
Great attention to detail, strong editorial judgment, and ability to execute clean, factually correct work with integrity.
Experienced with SEO concepts
Ability to work efficiently and proactively against tight deadlines, taking initiative to get ahead of roadblocks before they arise.
Excellent interpersonal skills and desire to collaborate with colleagues.
Creative, strategic thinker, and agile.
