Responsibilities:

• Responsible for internal financial control and full statutory compliance. 
• Responsible for monthly/quarterly/annual taxes submission (VAT, WHT, Corporate tax). 
• Support the shared services team to oversee day to day accounting & finance function. 
• Responsible for Financial planning and Analysis (Including monthly forecast, Sales, Orders and Collection). 
• Handle project accounting transactions such as billing, revenue recognition and credit/debit note adjustment. 
• Compare variances between actual and budgeted revenue and costs and coordinate and confirm overruns and savings with market unit. 
• Ensure all expenditure are properly authorized and vetted by the finance function in accordance with local and group approval procedures and authority limits. 
• Handle month end closing duties on time. 
• Acting as the primary financial and commercial advisor to the local management team. 
• Contact point for Market Unit on Corporate Compliance. 
• Contact point for Internal and External Audit and follow up all comment and report issue if required. 
• Review margin analysis monthly to ensure Market Unit achieve the financial targets. 
• Other ad-hoc requirements as assign. 

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree, Accounting or equivalent, Chartered Accountant. 
• Extensive experience in taxes and accounting standards. 
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience. 
• Computer literate – able to handle IS / IT applications. 
• A “can-do” self starter with good English (verbal and written) communication skills. 
• Pleasant, co-operative, self–motivated, team player and customer oriented. 
• Preferred to have knowledge in Trading and Service environment exposure, Information Technology, Accounting Software, Inventory Control and Accounts receivable control.
