About the role

As the Senior Accountant at our retail company you will play a pivotal role in the company’s financial management and reporting. Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the accounting function, you will ensure the accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial records and deliver insightful analysis to support strategic decision-making. This full-time position is based in the vibrant city of Seminyak, Bali.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and review accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

2. Manage the general ledger and ensure all transactions are properly recorded and documented

3. Reconcile bank accounts, accounts receivable, and accounts payable on a regular basis

4. Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, and monitor financial performance against targets

5. Collaborate with the finance team to identify areas for process improvements and streamline accounting operations

6. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies

7. Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions and strategic planning

Requirements:

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role, preferably in the retail, garment manufacturing industry

2. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

3. Proficient in the use of accounting software, spreadsheets, and other financial reporting tools

4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights

5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with cross-functional teams

6. Thorough understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations

7. Advanced Level of English, Spoken and Written

• Additionally, the candidate will oversee and analyze the financial performance of the owner’s other companies, providing insights and reports to support strategic decision-making
