About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Accounts Receivable to join our dynamic team at PT VPower Operation Services in Batam, Riau Islands. This full-time role is a crucial part of our finance and accounting operations, responsible for overseeing the management of our company’s accounts receivable.

What you’ll be doing

Invoice Management:

• Check & Review the production report (BA) from the commercial team before sending it to the customer

• Create billing documents for customers, ensuring they are complete and accurate in accordance with the existing Billing SOPs.

• Ensure timely issuance of invoices in accordance with contractual terms

Receivables Monitoring & Collection:

• Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts

• Coordinate with commercial and operations teams to resolve billing disputes

• Develop and implement collection strategies to reduce DSO (Days Sales Outstanding)

Reconciliation & Reporting:

• Perform monthly AR reconciliations and ensure accurate ledger entries

• Prepare AR reports for management, including aging analysis and collection forecasts

Compliance & Documentation:

• Ensure AR processes comply with company policies and relevant tax regulations

• Maintain proper documentation for audit and internal control purposes

• Upload all data and soft copy files to the G-Drive and save the data so that it is well-maintained

Process Improvement & Other Task

• Identify opportunities to streamline AR processes and improve efficiency

• Carry out other tasks assigned by the Finance, Accounting, and Tax Manager

What we’re looking for

• Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

• Minimum 5 years of proven working experience in the related field is required for this position.

• Strong understanding of Indonesian tax regulations related to invoicing and collections

• Have the ability to design and implement processes and document procedures

• Have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment within an organization that is growing very rapidly

• Must be highly skilled in dealing with financial and numeric data.

• Must be highly skilled in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel Spreadsheets

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Time management skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively

• Must have excellent work habits, including a willingness to work the hours necessary to get the job done, especially when important deadlines are needed

• Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
