JOB SUMMARY  

• Responsible for directing the full spectrum of activities and office operational for Branch Office
• Responsible for lifting performance against budget targeted for Branch Office
• Supervise and manage back office, finance and sales team for working performance in daily basis
• Weekly basis report to Management on outcome for sales leads

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee day-to-day back office team in daily activities and administration
• Oversee day-to-day finance team carrying out daily activities and administration
• Oversee day-to-day sales team performing daily activities
• Ensure the quality of service to customer is provided in a timely and accurate
• Carry out and report on sales visits to designated clients
• Secure nominations and cargo bookings with maximum contribution to the company as required from time to time
• Close communication and full coordination with Jakarta for any raised issues at back office, finance and sales
• Provide directions and resolution for all routine and non-routine business problems
• Maintain good communication with customer and principal (Indonesian trade and line manager)
• Recommend joint visits to target clients with Management
• Report any issues, each department’s productivity and volume performance
• Remain responsible for the Branch export & Import target volume
• Actively engage on weekly commercial & performance sales & Branch
• Any other assignments as and when assigned by the direct superior

 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Minimum Level of Qualification:

1. Min. 7 years professional experience in liner shipping, logistics and forwarding industry, managing sales team
2. Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics/Shipping Management, or equivalent, qualified operations and logistics or equivalent experience
3. Minimum 3 years at supervisory level

Professional Skills:

1. English fluency
2. Excellent presentation
3. Knowledge of logistics, services and destination regulations
4. Awareness of worldwide economy and freight market
5. Proficient in computer and system literacy

Personal Qualities:

1. Strong leadership, team leader and high integrity
2. Good interpersonal communication
3. Highly motivated, result oriented individual with organization skills and ability to solve problems
4. Attained to detail and analytical mind
