Position: Scrum Master  

Working arrangement: Hybrid 

Location: Global Development Hub Jakarta. 

Candidates should be domicile in or willing to relocate to JABODETABEK without relocation support.

You sincerely obliged to guide teams to successful delivery by fostering a collaborative, efficient, and high-performing environment. You feel the urge to ensure that the team matures to handle conflicts and remove obstacles independently, rather than relying on external support. You are a down-to-earth elder who guides the tribe to wisdom but also the coolest buddy for the team at the same time! 

Key Responsibilities: 

Coaching and Leadership: 

  • Lead and coach the team in adopting and practicing adaptive principles of value creation and delivery, ensuring they understand and embrace the mindset. 
  • Mentor team members, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance and professional growth. 
  • Ensure the team becomes self-sufficient in resolving conflicts and removing obstacles. 
  • Coach product managers and product owners to ensure effective management of the product backlog. 

Team Collaboration and Communication: 

  • Foster a collaborative and communicative team environment where everyone’s contributions are valued. 
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between team members and stakeholders. 
  • Ensure the team is aligned with the project goals and objectives. 

Continuous Improvement: 

  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team by encouraging experimentation and feedback. 
  • Encourage and facilitate team retrospectives to identify and implement improvements. 
  • Monitor team performance and provide constructive feedback for growth and development. 

Stakeholder Engagement: 

  • Collaborate with product managers, product owners, development teams, and other stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of project requirements and deliverables. 
  • Communicate project status, challenges, and achievements to stakeholders. 
  • Engage with external partners and vendors as needed. 

Documenting and Updating on Progress: 

  • Ensure the sprint backlog is managed efficiently, making sure every work item is deliverable within the sprint timebox. 
  • Provide regular status updates to project stakeholders. 
  • Ensure transparency and visibility of the team’s progress and performance.

Qualifications: 

Human Skills: 

  • Growth Mindset: Demonstrated eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges. 
  • Empathy: Ability to acknowledge and understand the thought-process and interactions among team members and stakeholders. 
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and concisely to diverse audiences. Advanced written and spoken English is a must. 
  • Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional global team environment. 
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and requirements. 

Technical Skills: 

  • Deep knowledge of Agile philosophy and Lean principles. 
  • Deep knowledge and experience in software development and delivery frameworks. 
  • Experience with software development and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps). 
  • Familiarity with the principles of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD). 

Education and Experience: 

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience as Scrum Master or Agile Coach. 
  • Proven experience in coaching and facilitating practices within software development teams.  
  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience in serving and coaching globally distributed teams.  
  • Scrum Master or Agile Coaching (e.g., PSM, CSM, ICP) or similar certification.  
  • Certifications in relevant technologies, software development and project management. 
  • Familiarity with processes and key players in the construction industry.
