We are looking for a qualified and highly motivated person with a high commitment for SAP PM Functional Support.
Summary
SAP PM Functional Support is generally responsible for resolving critical SAP development issues (research, develop, and propose both short and long term solution to SAP system requirement and identifying root cause for recurring issues and make / implement proposal for their elimination. As an SAP PM Functional Support, you will be responsible for all business transactions in the SAP PM module run by users smoothly, which makes your role extremely important for our user to ensuring the validity and accountability of the data/report.
Responsibility
You will play an important role in:
- Assist or take responsibility for estimating and conducting development work end to end (requirement analysis, estimates, functional spec, testing, etc.)
- Help the business in month end and year end closing activities to ensure timely closing and submission of reports to management.
- Supply post implementation support and ensure compliance requirements are adhered to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Support Services Section support model, methods and processes.
- Creating Functional design documents for enhancements of existing SAP functionality for interim releases; – configuration for system enhancements; – testing system modifications; – performing system maintenance (configuration, master data); – analyzing and evaluating SAP system processes and user needs.
Required Experience
To succeed in this role, we will need you to be:
- Business experience in supporting SAP PM module (Developments, Testing, Documentation, Training Organization and Delivery, END USER Support).
- Significant experience with SAP implementation projects.
- Good Knowledge of Maintenance equipment as well as costs implication for machines.
- Understanding of cross module integration.
- Minimum 4 years of SAP PM experience, including two years of SAP project management experience in configuration in PM module.
- Experience in help desk support and issue resolution
Other critical skills required:
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Display proven experience with systems analysis & integration.
- Ability to identify, clarify and resolve issues and risks, escalating them as needed.
- Demonstrates initiative and ability to work in both a team environment as well as independently.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and self-manage.
- Ability to effectively handle pressure and demands from multiple customers and competing priorities.
- Candidates should be very organized and have a flexible approach to operate in an international environment.
- Working experience in large corporate environment (manage contact with many cultures).
- Knowledge of Asian country operations will be an added advantage
- May be required to accommodate irregular work hours including evenings and weekends and on call rotations.
