Responsibilities: 

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the shipping and logistics sector.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and profit targets.
  • Analyze client needs, provide customized project proposals, and negotiate contracts to secure deals.
  • Oversee end-to-end project management, including planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery.
  • Coordinate with operations, logistics, and finance teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Monitor project milestones, resolve issues, and provide regular progress updates to stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Coordinate with vendors, agents, and external stakeholders to support project delivery.
  • Provide detailed sales forecasts, performance reports, and business insights to management.
  • Ensure all sales projects comply with shipping industry standards, government regulations, and internal processes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, project management, or business development, particularly in the shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and project management skills.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop strategic solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and stakeholders.
