They are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager specialising in Polycarbonate to join their dynamic team. The company operates in various industries, including automotive, construction, electronics, and healthcare, providing innovative solutions to meet the evolving needs of customers worldwide.

Description

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve business objectives within the polycarbonate – engineering plastics market segment.
• Identify and target potential customers, focusing on key industries.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, marketing, and technical service to drive new product development and support customer projects.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities.
• Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and other relevant documentation to management.

Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field. MBA or additional business qualifications are a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in the plastics industry with a focus on polycarbonate or engineering plastics.
• In-depth knowledge of polycarbonate and engineering plastics applications, markets, and industry standards.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
