We specialize in the manufacturing and distribution of industrial tools and equipment. With a strong presence in the global market, we are expanding our operations in Indonesia and are seeking a talented Sales Engineer to join our team. This individual will play a crucial role in developing our business, managing channels, and identifying project opportunities within the manufacturing segments and mining industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Revenue Generation –
  • Achieve sales targets and revenue goals through effective lead generation, negotiation, and closure of deals.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and budgets to monitor and evaluate performance against targets.
  • Continuously update product knowledge, stay abreast of industry trends to effectively position, and differentiate our offerings in the market.
  • Business Development
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the local market to promote our range of industrial tools and equipment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, including manufacturers and mining companies, to understand their needs and position our products and services accordingly.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, competitor activities, and potential growth areas within the manufacturing segments and mining industry.
  • Develop strategies and action plans to penetrate new markets and expand our customer base.
  • Channel Management:
  • Manage existing distribution channels and identify potential partners to strengthen our market presence.
  • Train and educate channel partners on our products, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively promote and sell our tools.
  • Monitor channel performance, provide regular feedback, and implement corrective actions to achieve sales targets.
  • Project Opportunity Identification:
  • Proactively identify project opportunities within the manufacturing segments and mining industry.
  • Collaborate with the team to provide technical support and product recommendations for potential projects.

Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales and business development, preferably in the industrial tools or equipment industry.
  • Strong understanding of the manufacturing segments and mining industry in Indonesia.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Results-oriented and capable of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
