Sales Area  (Ice Cream Manufacturer – B2B Focus)

Position Overview: As a Sales Manager at our ice cream manufacturingcompany, you will play a crucial role in driving aggressive growth andexpanding market share within our city. Your primary focus will be ondeveloping strategic sales plans, managing customer relationships in theHoreca and modern trade sectors, and creating budgets with ambitious salesgoals for the upcoming year. Additionally, you will lead a team of salesexecutives and merchandisers, ensuring their alignment with companyobjectives and sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy Development:

  • Develop aggressive sales strategies to significantly increasemarket share within the city.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities for growth throughinnovative sales approaches and market penetration tactics.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to align salesstrategies with brand objectives and promotional campaigns.2.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate and expand our customer base within the Horeca andmodern trade segments through proactive relationship-buildingefforts.
  • Conduct regular meetings with clients to understand theirevolving needs, address concerns, and negotiate contracts.

3. Team Leadership and Management:

  • Lead, motivate, and mentor a high-performing team of salesexecutives and merchandisers to achieve aggressive sales targets.
  • Provide ongoing training, coaching, and performance evaluationsto enhance team productivity and effectiveness.
  • Delegate tasks, set clear objectives, and monitor progress toensure alignment with company goals.4.

Budgeting and Goal Setting:

  • Develop comprehensive budgets for the upcoming year, withambitious sales goals aligned with company objectives.
  • Utilize market insights, sales forecasts, and historical data toestablish realistic yet challenging sales targets.
  • Monitor budget performance and adjust strategies as needed toensure goal attainment and financial success.5.

Sales Operations Oversight:

  • Coordinate closely with the sales administration department tostreamline order processing, invoicing, and payment collection.
  • Monitor inventory levels, sales forecasts, and product availabilityto optimize stock management and distribution.
  • Implement efficient sales processes and procedures to enhanceoperational effectiveness.6.

Market Analysis and Reporting:

  • Conduct regular market analysis and sales performance reviewsto identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
  • Prepare comprehensive sales reports, including KPIs, salesforecasts, and market insights, for senior manager
  • Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions andadjustments to sales strategies.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or relatedfield; MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience in aggressive B2B sales management, preferablywithin the FMCG industry, with a focus on Horeca and modern tradechannels.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a salesteam to achieve ambitious targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and markettrends to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and CRM software.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
