Job Overview:

The Sales Analyst is responsible for analyzing sales data, developing sales forecasts, creating reports, and providing insights and recommendations to the sales team. The Sales Analyst will work closely with the sales team to identify opportunities for growth, improve sales strategies, and optimize revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for growth
• Develop sales forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and other relevant factors
• Create reports and dashboards to communicate sales performance to the sales team and other stakeholders
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify areas for improvement in sales strategies and processes
• Provide insights and recommendations to the sales team based on data analysis and market research
• Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify opportunities and threats
• Develop and maintain sales data systems and tools to ensure accurate and timely reporting
• Support the sales team in preparing presentations and proposals for clients
• Provide training and support to the sales team on sales data analysis and reporting

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in sales analysis or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools
• Experience with CRM systems and sales reporting tools
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time management skills
