About the role

We are seeking an experienced RND (Research and Development) Section Head to join our team at PT Seongsan International, a leading player in the Manufacturing, Transportation & Logistics industry. As the RND Section Head, you will be responsible for overseeing our innovative research and development initiatives, ensuring we stay at the forefront of industry trends and continuously improve our products and services. This is a full-time position based in Tangerang, Banten.

Jobs Description :

• Manage and direct the RND team to develop new products, enhance existing ones, and explore new technologies and processes

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for innovation and drive the implementation of new ideas

• Monitor industry developments and market trends to inform the RND strategy and decision-making

• Oversee the testing and validation of new products, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards

• Develop and manage the RND budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost-effective operations

• Provide strategic guidance and leadership to the RND team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement

• Represent the RND function in senior management meetings and contribute to the overall business strategy

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar RND leadership role within manufacturing

• Strong technical expertise and understanding of the latest trends and technologies in the relevant industry

• Proven track record of leading successful RND projects and delivering tangible business impact

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills

• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the ability to effectively present complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences

• Collaborative leadership style, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing RND team

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred
