The Role

Indonesia’s Ministry of Health has embarked on a major health transformation in the wake of Covid-

19. Prospera has been assisting the Ministry of Health in the reform process since late 2021, together

with other development partners. The purpose of this Consultancy is to assist the Ministry of Health sustain implementation of the health transformation. The Consultant will work across all priority programs for all health transformation pillars, including health workers pillar.

About You

To undertake the assignment, the Consultant is expected fulfil the following requirements:

·     International and Indonesian expertise in delivering government sector health system transformation. The Consultant must have deep knowledge of Indonesian health service delivery in a decentralised system of governance and experience with health program implementation.

·       Excellent written English and Bahasa language skills along with highly developed communication skills with an ability to quickly develop rapport with team members.

·       Strong track record in meeting deadlines, scheduling, and prioritising tasks.

·     A team of highly qualified personnel with strong professional and academic background as well as extensive practical experience to deliver similar tasks as required under this Terms of Reference. This includes, but is not limited to, expertise in primary and secondary health care, health financing, patient engagement, health policy, health data and information systems.

·       It is expected that the Consultant Team will include, but is not limited to the following roles:

–          Lead Health Advisor /Team Leader

–          Senior Health Advisor

–          Data/Statistical Expert

–          Subject Matter Experts

Remuneration Various – consulting firm with multiple roles. Rate is according to DFAT Adviser Remuneration Framework (ARF).
