Responsibilities:

• Constantly review room availability in relation to total rooms sold, opening and closing categories with a view to maximizing occupancy and revenues
• Track and establish pick-up trends, occupancy history to facilitate the forecasting process
• Create marketing plans online and advertising campaigns to drive revenue
• Maintain a comprehensive allotment list and provide monthly reports of actual materialization
• Manage all aspects of competitor intelligence, pricing & yield; management of room inventory, distribution channels, market segment mix, acceptance / denial of major group bookings
• Audit rates on all distribution channels to ensure they are updated correctly
• Manage all OTA inventories and rate distribution
• Ensure all reservations are transacted professionally and efficiently
• Provision and generation of daily revenue and other reports as required by the Hotel
• Train associates in all aspects of reservation operations

Requirements:

• Place of work in Indonesia, at the branch office of The Scarlet Singapore
• Exposure to training in Singapore
• At least 2 years’ of experience in a similar capacity with a 4 or 5-star hotel
• Proficient in Infor HMS and IDeaS will be an added advantage
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, conversant in both verbal and written English in addition to experience interacting with foreign travellers
• Customer-oriented with a keen interest in the Hospitality Industry
• Positive work attitude, able to work independently and in a team
• Tech savvy, with competent knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Well-groomed and presentable, between 21 to 45 years of age
