Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Retail Sales Executive located in Solo, Central Java. The Sales Executive will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as prospecting and generating leads, building and maintaining relationships with clients, conducting sales presentations, negotiating and closing deals, and achieving sales targets. The Sales Executive will also provide product knowledge and support to clients, forecast sales targets.

Job description:

  • Conduct routine visits to Workshop, Design & Build, and Stores (8 – 10 visits per day)
  • Give product knowledge presentations to prospective customers.
  • Provide price offers/price lists to customers
  • Request orders and order estimates from customers (Workshop, Design & Build, Stores)
  • Offer input for developing sales programs and Marketing Team activities to support sales target achievement
  • Handle and resolve customer complaints
  • Conduct prospecting visits to gain new customers and increase revenue according to set targets.
  • Follow up, provide samples, and offer new products until orders are placed
  • Maintain good relationships with existing customers or prospective customers
  • Check and be aware of stock availability (HPL Sheet)
  • Implement promotional programs and evaluate the effectiveness of promotions for each customer
  • Inform or survey competitor activities in the market
  • Provide and place merchandise for customers (Banners, T-shirts, Vouchers, etc.)
  • Create daily reports and realization of sales target achievements with the sales team and supervisors
  • Coordinate with the Finance department regarding the control of due receivables payments (ToP) from customers (if necessary)

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma
  • Has minimum 2 years of working experience as Retail Sales in the related field is required for this position (Laminates, Building Material, Interior Design, etc)
  • Have the ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment and to quickly identify problems and recommend solutions
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
  • Excellent presentation and time management skills
  • Self-motivated and target-driven
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Able to speak English orally and in writing is a plus
  • Have own private vehicle
