Purpose
Assists the general management of the companies and operations, leading the elaboration of their Commercial Budgets, supporting the elaboration of their Commercial Plans and overseeing their business execution and performance assuming P&L accountability.
Key Accountabilities
Operations
- Ensures correct and complete implementation of the commercial plan for the companies under his/her scope
- Adding value and knowhow to the execution of the operating model and adapting the organization to local needs
- Assists the GM on tactical business development, provide input to the Country strategy planning and contribute to business decisions
- Supports the GM in the elaboration of the Commercial Plan for the companies under his scope
- Assists the GM in managing costs and overheads, and all factors affecting the profitable performance of operations
- Make sure that all company policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to at all times, with exceptions being forwarded to the appropriate Division or Global Director
- Ensure that decisions and recommendations from the leading Country are applied in shops
- Follow sales evolutions and analyse figures to prepare weekly and monthly activity reports
People
- Assist the GM in managing the Country People Plan
- Actively works on people performance within the Country, proactively dealing with high and low performers
- Coaches people through leading by example on all people issues, ensuring compliance with local and corporate requirements
Finance
- Assists the GM in managing all financial targets, putting action plans into place for underperforming areas of the business
- Uses the business community matrix to maximize the support for the business unit to achieve its financial targets and drive revenue
Customer
Acting as the perfect link between GM and field, ensuring excellence in execution and filtering all necessary commercial adjustments the model
Specific Requirement
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree
- Required language(s): English
- Experiences as Store manager or supervisor in Retail at least 3 years
Experience Required
Essential: Retail and/or customer service experience with at least 6 years at management level
Desirable: Knowledge of the retail or consumer goods industry
