Pesona Lounge Trawangan is not “just another restaurant.” We are a tropical-luxe lounge, famous for vibrant food, a creative cocktail program, eco-conscious choices, and being the original shisha bar on Gili Trawangan. We don’t use MSG, artificial colouring, or palm oil. We love fresh ideas, fun energy, modern service, and creating memorable holiday moments for our guests.

We are entering an exciting phase of renovation and upscaling, and we’re looking for the right leaders to take our guest experience to the next tier.

Role Overview:

We’re looking for a Restaurant Manager who is not only strong operationally, but truly passionate about hospitality, storytelling, guest engagement, and staff development. Someone who can transform service from “take order, deliver food” into connection, personality, and experience.

This role is ideal for someone who:

You will help shape our service culture, motivate the team, and ensure every guest leaves thinking “that was special.”

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Experience & Service Style

• Elevate service from transactional to experience-based hospitality

• Inspire the team to build emotional connection with guests, not just take orders

• Ensure product storytelling: our eco-friendly values, no MSG, unique cocktails, fusion flavours, shisha heritage

• Problem-solve guest issues with positivity and ownership

Team Training & Development

• Train staff in guest interaction, upselling, storytelling & product knowledge

• Create a service style that is fun, warm, confident, professional. Not stiff or overly formal

• Hold regular coaching sessions and refreshers

• Help every team member grow in skill, confidence and performance

Operations & Leadership

• Daily floor management: reservations, seating flow, service quality

• Work closely with Bar & Kitchen teams to execute seamless service

• Assist with SOP updates, menu rollout, new projects & renovations

• Maintain cleanliness, service standards, reporting, stock checks as needed

Brand & Innovation

• Contribute ideas for guest experience improvements, events, cocktail storytelling, special evenings, influencer experiences, etc.

• Help shape Pesona Lounge into one of the most memorable dining experiences on the island

• Smoother service, tighter standards, and a fun professional atmosphere

• New ideas implemented, not just managed

Requirements:

• 2+ years experience in restaurant or hospitality management

• Strong people skills: coaching, motivating, training

• Highly guest-focused with genuine warmth and communication ability

• Creative thinker: not just operational, but inspirational

• English fluency required; Indonesian or additional languages a bonus

• Must be comfortable working in a casual-professional, fun environment (not stiff hotel formality)

• Experience on Gili or in Indonesia is a plus, but not required
