Responsibilities:

• Monitor competitor pricing, with an understanding of the dynamics of the Singapore local market and its demand generators, so as to recommend appropriate actions to the Management on the Hotel’s pricing and market mix strategy
• Track and analyse booking pace, group wash, cut-off enforcement for groups
• Monitor all channels including but not limited to room types and sell strategy
• Maximize all revenues to and for the Hotel, manage the room inventory, and/or the yield hurdle points, distribution channels, market segment mix
• Capitalize on room revenue through upselling to higher category rooms
• Train and support Hotel teams on the functionality and enhancements of the reservations system

Requirements:

• Place of work in Indonesia, at the branch office of The Scarlet Singapore
• Exposure to training in Singapore
• At least 2 years’ of experience in a similar capacity with a 4 or 5-star hotel
• Proficient in Infor HMS will be an added advantage
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, conversant in both verbal and written English in addition to experience interacting with foreign travelers
• Customer-oriented with a keen interest in the Hospitality Industry
• Positive work attitude, able to work independently and in a team
• Tech savvy, with competent knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Well-groomed and presentable, between 21 to 45 years of age
