Montiplanet.com is an upcoming webshop and distributor for educational toys. We focus on high quality sustainable and durable toys. Our ambition is to be the global market leader within this niche. As a part of Kids Worldwide Factory (Workout Factory B.V. registered in The Hague, Netherlands), we are passionate about helping children develop through play while delivering excellent customer experience.

We are seeking Fully-Remote Junior Content Editors for our educational toys website (Montiplanet.com). This role will be based remotely in Indonesia. 

As a Junior Content Editor, you will mainly be creating and editing listings for educational toys. This will include editing and adding images to the listings. You will also write category descriptions and research for products to be added to the website. As the website will contain multiple sections, you will be assigned to one or more sections of the website.

You will determine your work hours. Once determined, you will stick to the agreed work hours. Your work hours may be adjusted in joint consultation. 

You will work directly with a Team Lead. After an intensive training period, you will largely work independently. Communication via email, chat or video call will take place as required. Weekly video calls will be scheduled to discuss progress.

Responsibilities:

• Creating and editing product listings including editing and adding images
• Writing category descriptions
• Researching for products to be added to the website

Requirements:

• Preferably Bachelor’s Degree holder. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Excellent verbal and written communication English skills 
• Good working knowledge of online applications and photo editing tools (eg: Google Workspace, Pixlr, Canva)
• Ability to work independently with strong work ethic and attention to details
• Experience in SEO, content editing, writing or in e-commerce industry is highly beneficial
• Affinity with toys and the corresponding target audience (parents of young children) is a plus point

Conditions:

• Agreement of service: Freelance contract. The objective is to work together for the long term (10+ years for comparable positions in the past)
• Requirement to comply with applicable laws as a freelancer or independent contractor in respective country of residence
• Work hours per week: 40 hours
• Work location: Indonesia 
• Work environment: Dedicated quiet workspace without distractions
• Work equipment: Usage of own laptop or desktop computer with access to reliable high-speed internet
