Professional skincare company from Japan Nanocosmetech Inc. represented in more than 50 countries (the owner of the Forlle’d and Uteki brands) opens the position of Regional Sales Manager Asia & Oceania to be initially based in Malaysia, Indonesia or Thailand.

The company is actively expanding its portfolio of brands, as well as its presence in international markets.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Sells company products through distributors and/or direct sales.
• Provides market research for the targeted markets with recommendation of potential partners.
• Is responsible for meeting established sales quotas in conformance with the annual budget through channel sales management activities.
• Maintains a thorough knowledge of products and services.
• Works with Management to determine the type and number of Distributors necessary to cover the assigned region.
• Maintains a constant awareness of markets, competitor activities and problems with assigned areas; recognizes market trends and takes corrective actions or makes appropriate recommendations, which may include recruiting new and terminating existing Distributors.
• Develops annual business plan with Distributors, which includes sales goals and market development activities.
• Conducts periodic meetings with each Distributor to review their performance and define corrective actions.
• Trains Distributor personnel (e.g. sales representatives, agents, etc.)
• Conducts joint sales calls with the Distributors’ field force.
• Prepares target account prospecting strategy and account management strategies to retain customers.
• Orchestrates and/or participates in marketing events that Distributors hold (e.g., on-site customer events, forums, trade shows etc.)
• Analyzes and prepares sales forecasts and reports.

Experience & Education

• Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing preferred.
• Minimum of five years of proven cosmetics sales and sales management experience.
• Fluent English and other Asian languages be an advantage.
• PC skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to travel internationally.
