The Quality Senior Manager, plays a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality for pump manufacturing and pump testing processes. This position involves overseeing both quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) activities to maintain product reliability, meet customer specifications, and adhere to industry regulations. This position will lead a team in implementing robust QA/QC systems, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance with quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive QA and QC program for pump manufacturing.
• Establish and maintain QA and QC processes, procedures, and documentation to meet industry standards and customer requirements.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with QA standards.
• Oversee the implementation of effective quality control processes on the production floor.
• Define and monitor QC metrics, ensuring products meet specified standards before reaching customers.
• Collaborate with production teams to address and resolve QC issues promptly.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement within both QA and QC functions.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions to enhance overall product quality.
• Utilize data analysis to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with suppliers to establish and maintain quality standards for raw materials and components.
• Conduct regular QC inspections of incoming materials and collaborate with suppliers on quality improvements.
• Conduct regular quality audits of the suppliers to ensure the fulfillment of the requirements.
• Collaborate with other teams to address quality issues and implement improvements.
• Facilitate regular communication to ensure quality expectations are met across departments.
• Analyze QA and QC data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and opportunities for improvement.
• Generate comprehensive reports on QA and QC performance for senior leadership.
• Monitor customer feedback related to product quality and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Work closely with customer support to address quality-related inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
• Stay informed about changes in quality regulations and implement necessary adjustments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Extensive experience in a quality management role with a focus on both QA and QC.
• In-depth knowledge of quality management systems, standards, and methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
• Minimum of 10 [Ten] years of experience in quality management with a specific focus on QA and QC.
• Experience in pump manufacturing or related industries is highly desirable.
• Relevant certifications in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, ASQ certification) are a plus.
