KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :

1. Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in inspecting and testing of product assemblies throughout various stage of the manufacturing process.
2. Maintains quality records and documentation. Coordinates customer inspector activities. Applies knowledge of quality assurance standards and procedures.
3. Reviews quality assurance instructions, assembly specifications and production schedules and implements as applicable.
4. Ensures compliance to require standards, specifications and customer requirements.
5. Establishes and maintains consistent inspection practices.
6. Initiate corrective actions and leads cross functional discussions based in nonconformities. This includes determining root cause and corrective actions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Evaluates work load based on daily activities. Determine method of conducting inspections and tests, sequence of operations and work assignments.
2. Required to prevent future occurrences. Records actions taken and tracks effectiveness of corrective actions over time.
3. Ensures that the proper measuring equipment is available for inspectors to meet requirements and standards for compliance.
4. Conducts internal and vendor audits.
5. Any other duties deemed fit by Head of Department.

KEY AUTHORITY:

1. To approve all inspection reports generated at various stages of manufacturing
2. To take disposal action of NC reports
3. To suggest needs ot instruments
4. To take necessary action on occurence of NC
5. To plan, repair & calibrate instruments

POSITION REQUIREMENTS         

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field
• Minimum of 6 months experience in manufacturing environment
• Experience in the manufacture of valves, and industrial equipment is a plus.
• Able    to    research,    read,    and    interpretdrawings, technical manuals, and directives.
• Ability to prioritise, demonstrating good time management skills.
•  Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately in a busy and demanding environment. 
• Fluent in Engllish
• Experience as a quality assurance supervisor for at least 3 years
