As QS and Contract Head , you will be responsible for overseeing the commercial and contract section of building construction projects including QS, Cost Control, and Estimators.

Description

• Responsible for managing the Commercial and QS Section including Quantity Surveyors, Cost Controls and Estimators
• Overseeing the finances of projects as it progresses, including progress claims to clients and payment to sub-contractors and suppliers
• Involved in tender preparation, bidding, and negotiating contracts
• Assessing risk for all projects related contractual matters with clients, sub-contractors, suppliers including tendering and resolving contractual and commercial problems
• To review & draft contract, quotation, progress claim for subcontractors and to clients
• To prepare variation orders and final accounts to customers, sub-contractors, suppliers

Profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Project Commercial & Contract roles in managerial level, preferably with experience in construction company.
• Previous experience in a leadership role with strong and proven leadership skills to develop others
• Excellent negotiation and people management skill.
• Knowledgeable with construction contract and the legal framework
• Fluency in English
