About the role

PT. Retech Industrial Indonesia’ is seeking a full-time QEMS Officer to join our team in Batam Kota, Riau Islands. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the company’s Quality, Environment, and Management System (QEMS) to ensure compliance with international standards and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

What you’ll be doing

1. Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s QEMS policies, procedures, and processes

2. Conduct regular audits to assess the effectiveness of the QEMS and identify areas for improvement

3. Provide training and guidance to employees on QEMS requirements and best practices

4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address non-conformities and implement corrective actions

5. Stay up-to-date with relevant regulations, industry standards, and best practices in quality, environment, and management systems

6. Prepare and submit QEMS-related reports to management and external stakeholders

7. Actively participate in the continuous improvement of the company’s QEMS

What we’re looking for

1. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Quality Management, Environmental Science, or a related discipline

2. Minimum 3 years of experience in a QEMS or quality assurance role, preferably in the industrial or manufacturing sector

3. Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949 and other relevant quality and environmental standards

4. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills

5. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams

6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with QEMS software or tools

7. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

8. Mandarin speaker will be advantages.
