Job Description & Responsibility

  • Designing and developing automation scripts to validate the functionality, accuracy, and efficiency of software products.

  • A solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

  • Integrating automation testing protocols with existing code and engineering processes.

  • Analyzing problems, diagnosing root causes, and resolving defects.

  • Working closely with development teams to create automation strategies and deployment processes

  • Continuously enhance and optimize test automation frameworks and processes.

  • Maintaining documentation for automated processes, test results, and troubleshooting guides.

  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall quality of the product.

  • Reporting results and feedback to software development teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years work experiences

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer or similar role.

  • Experience with test automation tools like Katalon, Appium, Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.

  • Understanding of software testing principles and methodologies especially on mobile and web applications

  • Experience with API testing and tools like Postman or REST Assured.

  • Certifications such as ISTQB Certified Tester or Certified Software Test Automation Specialist can be advantageous

  • Familiarity with version control, defect tracking, and test management tools (GIT, Jenkins, JIRA).

  • Well versed with agile, scrum methodologies.

  • Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases.

  • Strong knowledge of programming languages such as PHP, JavaScript, Golang

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills and able to work under tight timeline

  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and Parallel run testing on multiple devices is a plus
