About the role

We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Supervisor to join our dynamic team at PT AKR Surabaya Land Corporindo in Gresik, East Java. As a Purchasing Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the procurement and inventory processes, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of materials, services and supplies to support our Property Development and Estate Management.

What you’ll be doing

1. Manage and coordinate the purchasing activities for various materials, equipment, and services required by the management

2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating favourable terms and pricing to optimize cost savings

3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand production requirements and facilitate the timely procurement of necessary materials

4. Oversee the work of purchasing assistants and clerks, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure operational efficiency

5. Implement and improve procurement policies, procedures, and systems to enhance the overall purchasing function

6. Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic sourcing initiatives to drive long-term cost savings and process improvements

What we’re looking for

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably within the property and real estate industry

2. Demonstrated expertise in supplier negotiations, contract management, and inventory control

3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address procurement challenges

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers

5. Proficient in the use of procurement software and data analysis tools. Knowledge of IFCA system is preferable

6. Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices in purchasing field

7. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or any related field

8. Ready to be placed in AKR GEM City, Manyar, Gresik
