About the role

As a Purchasing Supervisor at Ganesha Ek Sanskriti Restaurant’, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the procurement and inventory management processes for this esteemed restaurant located in Bali. In this contract position, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and supplies to support the restaurant’s operations and culinary excellence.

1. Develop and implement purchasing strategies to meet the restaurant’s operational needs

2. Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms

3. Manage the procurement of a wide range of goods, including food ingredients, kitchen equipment, and other supplies

4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, ensuring efficient stock levels and minimising waste

5. Collaborate with the culinary team to anticipate and plan for future purchasing requirements

6. Streamline procurement processes and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements

7. Monitor and report on purchasing metrics to support data-driven decision-making

8. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures

1. Proven experience as a Purchasing Supervisor or a similar role in the restaurant, hospitality, or F&B Industry

2. Strong understanding of procurement best practices, inventory management, and cost control techniques

3. Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills to secure favourable deals

4. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting to support informed decision-making

5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with cross-functional teams
