PURCHASING
Placement : Ungaran – Semarang

Responsibilities :

• Identify, understand and translate purchasing needs for raw material and material.
• Ensures timely delivery of goods and services that meet quality, timing and price terms.
• Control and ensure all purchasing activities follow procedures and document according to the management system applied by the company.
• Identifies and implements most cost effective and efficient way to purchase overseas and/or local items.
• Evaluate suppliers regularly and coordinate with internal team for any issues with raw material and packaging material.
• Reporting for all activity in the procurement department and ensure the availability of the data and information with accurate, complete, and timely.
• Develop and evaluate subordinates to improve competency and motivation to achieve department targets.
• Ensure the purchasing activity conducted by requirement of quality, food safety, feed safety, environment, occupational health safety.
• Develop and execute purchasing strategies to optimize purchasing objectives and improve inventory management
• Source, negotiate, and purchase goods and services from local and international vendors
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and ensure compliance with established policies and procedures
• Manage the daily purchasing process, reviewing purchase requests, and producing purchase orders.
• Develop and maintain an inventory management system, ensuring that inventory levels are sufficient to meet operational needs.
• Develop and manage a budget for the purchasing department and report on financial performance.

Requirements :

• College graduate with at least 4 years of working experience as a Purchasing Manager
• Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Word and the hotel inventory / purchasing software.
• Able to lead, provide guidance and develop team members.
• Knowledgeable of supplies.
• Possess a sense of maturity and reliability.
• Good command English, both written and verbally to meet business needs.
• Prior experience in related work preferred.
• Able to be resourceful, creative and maintain flexibility in relation to working hours, especially at month end and during stock take.
