JOBS DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assess and act upon Material Request Forms received from Drilling Sites and Workshop and other sources in a timely manner. Assist the end user wherever possible to ensure the correct item or service is purchased to suit the end users’ need.
• Perform the purchase process starting from the request letter from the user, source the suitable vendor or service provider for these requests on the basis of timing of availability, negotiating price bid, preparing administrative completeness in coordination with current Company guidelines on the appropriate vendors and service providers and control the accuracy of the arrival of the purchase.
• Looking for vendors / suppliers of the items used by the company including selecting, interviews, and competitive bidding to determine the compatibility of goods and credit terms.
• Prepare Purchase Orders (PO) and submit them to the Vendor or service provider, so that the process of buying and running well on schedule and specifications.
• In consultation with the end user, establish optimal freight options to ensure the goods arrive in a timely manner at the most economical cost.
• Ensure the timely recording of all information required, including all input into the current ordering/inventory/finance software.
• Input into the preparation and monitoring of importation of goods as required.
• Contact suppliers to resolve price, quality, delivery or invoice issues.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly reports for purchases and outstanding POs.
• Assist in the development and implementation of purchasing and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures.
• Meets with vendors to negotiate pricing, product quality, and delivery.
• Negotiating and supervising supply contracts and formulating policies with suppliers.

Requirements :

• The successful applicant must have the following attributes, skills and experience:​
• Candidate must possess at least bachelor’s degree in economics, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related fields.
• Excellent in negotiation, communication, and management skills.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policies and systems
• Understanding of Export/Import procedures and holding certificated will be an advantage.
• Should be capable of working effectively under pressure and meeting established goals & objectives within the specific deadline.
• At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Proficient in English language both in verbal and written.
• Good understanding of MS Office and inventory/finance software.
• Preferably domicile in Bogor or surrounding area.
• Willing to be placed in Bogor, West Java
