Responsibilities
**Strategic Sourcing:**
  – Develop and implement purchasing strategies that align with the company’s business goals and production plans.

**Project Management:**
  – Manage multiple purchasing projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  – Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and finance, to support company-wide initiatives.

**Supplier Management**
  – Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to ensure they meet our standards for quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
  – Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
  – Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to secure favorable terms.
  – Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.

**Inventory Management:**
  – Oversee inventory levels to maintain an optimal balance between stock availability and cost control.
  – Implement inventory management systems and procedures to reduce waste and avoid production delays.

**Team Leadership:**
  – Lead and manage a team of 15 purchasing professionals.
  – You will be reporting to the division head (Japanese personnel)

**Compliance and Quality Assurance:**
  – Ensure that all purchasing activities comply with company policies and legal regulations.
  – Work closely with the quality assurance team to ensure that materials meet all required standards and specifications.

Requirements

– Bachelor (S1) or higher in any major
– Business / advanced level of English language
– Able to operate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Experience:
– 5+ years experience in Purchasing jobs  in Japanese manufacturing companies
– 3+ consecutive years experience as “Purchasing Manager” in a Japanese manufacturing company
– Experience in coordination of multiple internal divisions

Status : 6 or 12 month-contract for the starter

Salary : 23-26 juta gross/month
