OMS Oilfield Services is one of the leading oilfield services and manufacturing company which established in 1976. Our services include equipment repairs and re-manufacturing, onsite/offsite inspection, cladding, welding, precision machining, and technology connection (premium threading). We design and manufacture casing connectors, surface wellheads (both conventional and compact type), mudline suspension system and surface Christmas trees for both onshore and offshore applications.

Our sales and service operations are located in the major oil centers in Asia Pacific and Middle East, comprising 12 full-fledged facilities and a wide network of more than 10 licensed thread technology partners. OMS network of satellite facilities can provide fast and flexible response to support drilling and service companies to meet unforeseen requirements.

From this global footprint, OMS provides an integrated and elaborated manufacturing, welding, fabrication and repair services to support Oil Country Tubular Goods (OCTG) and related products.

We are looking for an experienced and high caliber professional for one of our facilities in Balikpapan, East of Kalimantan.

Position Summary :

Responsible to maintain, review and update files, records and other internal control system of past or present transactions including requisitions, outstanding or closed purchase orders and approved invoices.

Key Responsibilities:

· Maintain, review, update files and record other internal control systems consisting of past or present transactions including requisitions, outstanding or close purchase orders

· Interface between supplier(s) and Finance for invoice resolution

· Communicate with suppliers to verify status of orders/back orders

· Predicting stock to meet the sales requirement.

· Sourcing for suppliers and initiate local or alternate sourcing activities

· Create production no. from sales order

· Convert purchase requisition to purchase order

· Raise purchase order for various departments

· Coordinate with various departments and suppliers in the purchasing scope of work for assigned projects

· Planning and arrangement of material delivery schedule

· Liaising with vendor for shipment/delivery schedule

· Prepare and process purchase order and documents in accordance with company policies, procedures and specifications

· Perform other related duties as assigned on indicated by responsibilities

· Comply with all applicable quality, health, safety, security and environmental regulations.

Qualification Requirements : 

• Will be based in Balikpapan
• Min. Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Business Administration or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience or related field environment preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially MS Word and Excel.
• Self-motivated, proactive and able to work in a team
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
• Confident, Flexible and Disciplined
• “Hands-on” person with strong sense of commitment
• English (both written and spoken)
