Job Overview: 

The Specifier Executive will be responsible for identifying and developing relationships with architects, interior designers, and other key decision-makers to specify our laminate products in projects. This role involves a combination of sales, marketing, and technical expertise to ensure our HPL products are prominently featured in high-profile construction and renovation projects.

Key Responsibilities:
– Identify and target key architects, interior designers, builders, and contractors to specify laminate products.
– Conduct market research to identify potential projects and specification opportunities.
– Develop and implement strategies to increase product specifications and market penetration.
– Build and maintain strong relationships with specifiers, architects, designers, and other key stakeholders.
– Conduct regular visits, presentations, and product demonstrations to promote the company’s laminates.
– Attend industry events, exhibitions, and networking functions to represent the company and its products.
– Collaborate with the sales team to ensure seamless transition from specification to sales
– Provide technical support and product knowledge to specifiers and customers.
– Assist in the preparation of project proposals, tenders, and quotations.
– Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and regulations in the laminate and construction industry.
– Provide training and technical support to the sales team and clients on product features, benefits, and applications.
– Maintain accurate records of specifications, project leads, and client interactions.
– Prepare regular reports on market trends, specification activity, and competitive analysis.
– Monitor and report on the performance of specified projects.

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
– Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales or specification within the building materials industry, preferably laminates or related products.
* Skills:
– Strong understanding of the architectural and design community.
– Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
– Technical aptitude and ability to understand and explain product specifications.
– Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
– Ability to travel frequently and work independently.
