Our facility in Batam, Indonesia specializes in the production of lighting and detection product technologies including our Specialty Lamps for industrial and photonics applications, IPL Lamps and Trigger Coils, as well as Infra-Red Detectors (IRD), Sensor Modules and Pyro-electric Ceramic Wafers. Operating since September 1994, this site is also responsible for manufacturing of our Thermopile Sensors (TPS), Thermopile modules (TPM), CCD Sensors and Printed Circuit Board Assemblies.
We are presently seeking a Production Supervisor who will be responsible to supervise production processes and coordinate resources to meet our goals for safety, quality, cost, and on time delivery.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee production control and planning to meet quality targets and ensure on-time delivery.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, maintenance, and quality control, to resolve production issues and ensure seamless operations.

Coordinate with the planner team to optimize the production schedule.

Manage working hours, overtime, and shift patterns for the production team.

Ensure effective communication within the production team through reports, shift handovers, and meetings.
-
Maintain housekeeping standards in the production area to ensure a safe, clean, and organized environment.

Ensure that employees performing work affecting product quality are properly trained and competent.

Oversee the identification and proper tracking of all parts and materials throughout the production process.

Ensure that all production equipment is calibrated/verified and compliant with required specifications.

Lead, manage, and mentor direct reports by providing coaching, feedback, and conducting performance reviews.
-
Participate in hiring processes, including interviewing candidates and preparing on-the-job training (OJT) programs.
-
Ensure compliance to the standard of quality, environment, heath, and safety in his/her respective area in-charge.
Requirements:

Diploma or Degree, preferred from Industrial Engineering.

Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar production supervisory or leadership role.

Strong knowledge of production planning and process optimization.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is an added advantage.

Good English communication skills, both verbal and written.

Good leadership skill, planning and organizing skill, problem solving and decision making skill.
