We are currently seeking a talented Production Manager to join our team at a wood factory located in Jombang, Indonesia.

As a Production Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the production process, optimizing productivity, and ensuring the smooth operation of our wood manufacturing facility.

As the Production Manager, your primary responsibility will be to plan, coordinate, and supervise all aspects of the production process. You will work closely with the PPIC team to develop efficient production plans and ensure that they are executed effectively. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Production Planning: Collaborate with the PPIC team to develop production plans based on customer orders and sales forecasts. Ensure that production targets are met while maintaining high quality standards.
• Machine Productivity: Monitor and optimize machine performance to maximize productivity. Identify bottlenecks and implement strategies to improve efficiency.
• Workforce Management: Supervise and motivate a team of production workers. Assign tasks, provide training, and ensure that safety protocols are followed.
• Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure that all products meet specifications and customer expectations.
• Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction. Implement best practices to enhance overall productivity.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a production management role, preferably in the wood industry. Familiarity with wood manufacturing processes and machinery is highly desirable.
• Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse workforce. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Problem-Solving: Proven ability to identify and resolve production-related issues in a timely manner. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
• Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in using production management software and tools.
• Education: A bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial management, or a related field is preferred.
